I played Freelancer on a streaming service when those were popular in the early to mid 00s so don't own it so can't fire it up to see if I still like it. What would be ideal is Freelancer with character development and better ship development, but sophomoric gameplay that doesn't require you to mainly waste your time flying from boring navpoint to do boring to another super long boring flight to another navpoint to have a minute of action and another super long boring flight. I tried that new fancy smancy one that came out but I still was trying to make the controls comfortable when my two hour window for returns was closing so returned it. When it comes to these games I am more like a stupid hack. Rebel Galaxy was okay, and a set horizon was a great idea, but it was still repetitive and boring. Most of these types of games I play don't have a ton of content and have generic repetitive missions to follow and extremely boring mining of asteroids. I'm looking for a game like Freelancer more than Privateer. Looking on steam didn't really let me know if it actually is like privateer.

If you set the waypoint like right at the beginning of the runway you WILL NOT be able to land this thing.Īnyways, nice jet! like it. When attempting to land make sure to set the waypoint way ahead of whatever runway you're landing on because you will need ample time to visually see the runway before you land. Also, you have to keep this jet at a constant high speed while flying because as soon as you begin to slow down it becomes increasingly difficult to control and doing barrel rolls with this thing is a NO NO!! It will stall in midair like a metal brick. The design of this aircraft reminds me of those paper planes I used to fly around the classroom in school.įirst of all, make sure you got a really long runway before taking off because even after you take off the aircraft is so heavy that it takes a few seconds to go higher and if you're not paying attention and don't have enough space you can easily crash into those spotlights at the end of the runway or something else. This is a beautifully designed "concept" aircraft and I like it, that's why I added it to my list of add-on aircrafts and I'm giving it a nice 4 stars but, beware.This jet is very heavy with very short wings and a narrow fuselage and extremely difficult to maneuver in midair, specially if you're trying to land.
